Cary is based in central Moscow, one of the most exciting and important cities in the world. The Russia Today TV studios are just a few minutes walk from the Kremlin. With a population of more than 10 million people, Moscow offers an endless supply of interesting news and features, including a fascinating history, a thriving social scene, and of course the football World Cup in 2018!

For his part, having spent more than twenty years as a successful television, radio, and print journalist in the United Kingdom, Cary moved to the Malaga region of southern Spain, for a new challenge (and some sunshine!). There, he worked as a busy freelancer across many different fields, including the property and tourist industry of Andalucia, before undertaking his new role within the Russian Federation.

On the social front, Cary is a strong chess player, a mediocre saxophonist (the neighbours aren't too impressed!) a committed football fan, a keen movie-goer, and a pretty good cook - his Jamaican heritage making him partial to spicy food!

He also enjoys walks through historical Moscow, and has a large and varied music collection, including classical, jazz, rock music, and film scores, but with a particular obsession for the electronic and industrial sound of Gary Numan!
